Dungeonshot
Dungeonshot is my most current project and is still a work in progress at the early development stage.
Dungeonshot is a 2D puzzle platformer. Diving into dungeons to gather loot and explore new environments and solve puzzles. You take your trusty goop gun, use it to activate objects, take down baddies or blow doorways up.
Parallax background
I wanted the users to simply just have fun and created an adventurous 2D puzzle platformer. All levels are handcrafted creating puzzles and places for the player to explore. Levels are created by a tilemap editor, and all sprites were created by myself. For an added challenge enemy A.I. will be incorporated, this will try and force players to think quickly and act upon these encounters.
Shootable triggers
To make the game stand out from other 2D puzzle platformers, the Goop gun was created. Starting with just a basic concept it quickly developed into the main core mechanic of the game. The Goop gun opens doors, lowers platforms, disables enemies, and much more. The Goop effect was inspired by “metaballs” and uses a similar principle. So why not give the game a go it is still in early alpha. Feedback can be given on the game site.
